Privacy policy

2. What Website Sandbox processes

Website Sandbox by Vcreate runs entirely in your browser. The websites, images, audio and video files you create in the editor are stored only locally in your browser (IndexedDB and the cache of the installed web app). They are not transmitted to us or to third parties. If you delete your browser data, they are gone; therefore create backups regularly.

3. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by a hosting provider on servers in Germany. When you visit it, the server stores technically necessary data in log files, such as IP address, date and time, requested file, amount of data transferred and browser identifier. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). The logs are deleted after [retention period according to provider]. A data processing agreement exists with the provider. [Add the name of the hosting provider once determined]

4. Cookies, analytics and fonts

We do not use cookies for audience measurement or advertising and do not embed analytics services. All fonts are loaded from our own server, not from Google or other providers.

5. Installable web app (PWA)

If you install Website Sandbox as an app, your browser caches the program files locally so that the app also works without internet. No personal data is sent to us in the process.

6. Websites you create

You operate exported websites yourself. If you embed services such as YouTube or Vimeo there, you must point this out in your own privacy policy. Website Sandbox only loads embedded videos after the visitor clicks.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority of your German federal state.
